We have good news for you: your Atlassian Learning journey can help you grow in the Community Kudos programme! Whether you’ve completed your first Learning course or you’re a Learning Path pro, read on to find out how you can continue to develop your skills through Kudos.
The Kudos programme is the Atlassian Community’s reputation and recognition system. We reward participation across Community by giving our members ways to earn points and badges for a variety of meaningful activities throughout Forums, Learning and Events.
If you’ve started with Learning, your course and path completions are part of the Kudos programme, so you’re already on your way.
By completing a course in Atlassian Learning you earn a course badge for your profile plus 300 Kudos points!
If you continue on to complete a Learning Path, you get a path badge and 500 Kudos points!
Your Community profile brings your achievements together in one place.
The Badges section contains:
Recent Learning Achievements which shows your latest learning completions
Most Recent Badges displays your additional Kudos badges
When you click “View all”, the Badges page displays your broader trophy case, including learning achievements and other Kudos badges
The Kudos section shows your Kudos level and your points total. You can also see the Peer Recognitions (more on that later!) you’ve received.
You can also check your Kudos level using the Kudos dropdown tray here in the forums:
You can keep earning Kudos as you spend more time in Community by participating in different available challenges!
Check out the List of available challenges article to find out more about our evergreen challenges. Plus, you can have a look at the Challenges column in the Kudos tray to find activities in To Do:
You can give and receive peer recognition from other members. Each recognition gives 100 points to the recipient.
To send a recognition to another member, you can:
Go to the Kudos tray, search for the member’s username, and select a reason from the drop-down list.
Hover over another member’s username while browsing Forums and click the “give Kudos for this content” button that appears.
You’ll find all the recognitions you’ve received on your profile. Giving peer recognition to others does not subtract any points from your total, so recognise great contributions when you see them by giving Kudos!
You’re already here in the Training & Certification group, so why not join us? This is a great group to discover recommendations, discuss courses, and stay close to the broader learning conversations.
And if you want to stay up to date on Kudos news, feature changes, and programme updates, make sure to join the Community Contests & Kudos group.
Every completed course and path can help you grow your skills and your Kudos level! Enjoy the journey, we can’t wait to see what you accomplish. 💙
