Story point estimate vs story point

What is the differences between story point estimate and story point fields? How come there is only the story point estimate in Next Gen? Which data field is used in the classic reports?

I am asking bc I am trying to move issues from next gen to classic and the story points were not coming over bc we did not have story point estimates in classic.
