Will a page URL be the custom domain URL when a page goes public?

I have a trial instance of Statuspage.  I will use hypothetical domain names to explain my question.  Suppose I have a trial instance of Statuspage at:

https://name.statuspage.io

I want to use a custom domain of, hypothetically,

https://status.mydomain.com

I have it all set up, I believe.  When I go to https://status.mydomain.com, I get redirected to my page at   https://name.statuspage.io

The content is all good.  The redirection is working, but I do not want the page to appear to be https://name.statuspage.io.  I want it to appear to be  https://status.mydomain.com.

Will this happen when I pay for my subscription and transition the page to public?

Hi @Terry Medearis

As it is clearly stated on the page setup "Upgrade to use a custom domain"

upgrade.pngSo when you will upgrade it, you can set up your own domain.
