Trying to set up Status embed and unsure what i'm being asked to do.

Hi All,

I'm attempting to set up Status embed in Jira service desk. The guide looks really simple however, as a complete novice I'm struggling to understand what I am being asked to do.

I've followed the steps and copied the code, it then asks you to "Paste the code into your webpage as the last item in the page body" it is at this point I get stuck as I don't know where the code is supposed to be pasted to or how to do it. 

I'm sorry if this is a such a rookie question, but any help here would be massively appreciated.

Hey Charlotte! 

Great question! So while I don't work on the Jira support team, it could be possible to make this modification if you're using a server/datacenter version of Jira. However, I don't know if it'd be possible to modify the contents of the <body> tag in a cloud version of JSD. 

But yeah, you're just looking to edit the <body> tag of the web page you'd like to embed the tool in, I'm just not sure if it'll be possible with your version of JSD. It could be worth reaching out to their support directly to get their help in answering if it'll be possible for y'all!
