I work at a University and we use Statuspage to communicate incidents and scheduled maintenance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we're struggling to communicate the rapid improvements that are rolling out in the SaaS services we offer to our 1000s of stakeholders. For example, we offer Microsoft Teams, and we're having trouble sharing the news about all the of the helpful changes MS is rolling out.
Is anyone out there using Statuspage for something like this?
Hey Craig!
Statuspage is generally better utilized for notifying stakeholders of outages / incidents that have a clearly defined path (investigating / identified / monitoring / resolved). Using it for a newsletter isn't quite in the design.
Any time we notify internal folks about new technology, etc. we just send internal corporate communications through Outlook.
