Preset templates during maintenace window.

Hi,

I have different templates for the different statuses during a maintenace window.

I would like to be able to preset those templates without having to do this manually when changing the state.
When it changes from Scheduled to In Progress automatically, there is your default on, and I don't want to use this, but rather our own. So my wish is to set this before the maintenace start on all 4 statues, and not do this during the window.

As it is now, this is not possible to do in your webbpage.

Would this be possible to add on your webbpage?

Hi Maria,

What you’re describing isn’t currently possible in Statuspage.

You can create templates for maintenance communications, but you can’t preset a different template/message for each maintenance status (Scheduled, In Progress, Verifying, Completed) and have Statuspage automatically apply the corresponding one when the status changes.

So when the maintenance moves from Scheduled → In Progress, the default status message is used, and there isn’t currently an option to configure your own predefined message for that specific transition.

Unfortunately, that means the messages have to be adjusted manually during the maintenance window.
