New Statuspage created and getting emails to have them join my team to manage

I have a new statuspage since December 2025 and everything was working great. Now when a new person subscribes to the page to get notifications, started occurring on January 23, 2026, I receive an email from Statuspage stating:

Hey Rob,

We received a request from (email address of person who signed up) to help manage your status page, and creating an account for them is just a click away.

Click here to add this person to your team.

If you do not know who this person is, please ignore this email.

Why am I getting these all of the sudden and how do I turn this feature OFF?

Good day!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

From the description, it seems like a “team member access requests” for notifying the admins.

You can turn these off with the help of below steps :

1. Log in to Statuspage via https://manage.statuspage.io .

2. In the top‑right, click your avatar → Profile.

3. Look for your notification preferences.

4. Uncheck / disable “Team member access requests”.

5. Save.
