How to turn off notifications for maintenance items

I have a daily scheduled maintenance item that is long running that I dont want to receive notifications about. I unchecked the "Send Notifications" checkbox in the maintenance item itself, but as soon as I do that and hit Update, it reverts back to a checked state. Is this a bug, or is there some sub-component or other setting thats causing this value to revert back?

Hi @Ben Cavallaro 

Ticking/Unticking this box will have no effect if there has been no change to the maintenance and therefore no update to the maintenance to be sent out.

So the checkbox reverting to checked after you hit Update is by design — it's resetting to its default state for the next potential update.
