Do subscribers remain if you change Component Group name?

If I change a component group name, will that just update the text - or will it have a knock-on effect for subscribed users to that group, or it's individual components?

Changing the name of a Component Group will not change the Components in it, nor the subscriptions to it - it's just a cosmetic change of the name of that group.

1. Changing the name of components - definitely 

2. Moving components to a difference group - potentially, let me explain. 

If you have a Public or Private Page, then moving a component to different groups will not affect your subscribers or page viewers. 

If you have an Audience-Specific page, it will! You'll need to ensure the correct users have access to the correct groups so they can still see all the components they should see.
