Hi there,

I'm looking for confirmation on the RTO and RPO for StatusPage.

I've looked at the Atlassian Data Management page (https://www.atlassian.com/trust/security/data-management) but it does not specifically state which tier, and therefore which RTO and RPO, statuspage falls into.

When I look at the support policy (https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/atlassian-support-offerings-193299636.html) it also states that "We have separate support offerings for Jira Align, Opsgenie, and Statuspage" and links out to the StatusPage product page which just has the different support plans but doesn't mention anything about RTO and RPO.  I know the product is highly available however looking for a definitive answer on the RTO and RPO values.  I note this question was asked previously in the forum and it points to the data management page but as previously mentioned it does not outline what tier StatusPage fits in to in order to be able to work out the RTO and RPO.

Thanks,

Emma

Hi @Emma Takacs,

This is Darryl, Statuspage Support. I am here to help.

Understand that this is an inquiry for the following two metrics of Statuspage service:

*RPO – Recovery Point Objective – data loss in the event of a disaster

**RTO – Recovery Time Objective – services restoration in the event of a disaster

As explained in this community thread, here are the answers I found:

The RPO and RTO timelines are mentioned here https://www.atlassian.com/trust/security/data-management There is a table toward the middle of the page with these defined and with examples.

Additionally, if we do fall outside of the SLA uptime agreement you are eligible to request compensation as detailed here https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/service-level-agreement-for-atlassian-cloud-products/

If you are looking for the Operational RPO and RTO Timelines:

We should not have Data loss in our day-to-day operations or measurements on time to recovery unless we are in a situation to measure those data points. https://www.atlassian.com/trust/security/data-management Will be the page to reference for this information.

In terms of the Tier, as explained in that article, Statuspage should fall at Tier 1.

We hope this is helpful.

Thank you for reaching out.
