Clickable link in Uptime Calendar

Chuck Miller
May 6, 2026

I was looking to see if someone is viewing the uptime calendar and it shows something like "One component had a partial outage" if that could be made a link to the incident.  They seem confused that they can just click the tab labeled "incidents" and find the incident themselves.  Just wanted to see if there was a way to make it a little easier.  Thanks

Hi Chuck,

Thank you for reaching out on Atlassian Community!

This is actually already built into Statuspage. When you hover over a day on the uptime showcase bar that had downtime, the tooltip should include a clickable link to the related incident or maintenance — as long as the component is listed as an affected component on that incident for the same day.

If you're not seeing the link, here are a couple of things to check:

1. Make sure the component is marked as affected on the incident. When creating or updating an incident, you need to select which components are impacted. If the component wasn't explicitly selected, the uptime bar won't link back to that incident.

2. Hover directly over the colored bar for the specific day. The link appears in the hover tooltip on the uptime showcase (the ribbon-style bar chart on the main status page or the history page), not on the calendar grid itself.

You can find more details in our documentation here: Display historical uptime of components | Statuspage | Atlassian Support

Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Regards,

Aditya
