Remember those book reports you had to write in high school English, usually based on some really long, ancient novel? (Wuthering Heights comes to mind for me! 😥) How did you power through, did you: A - Watch the movie B - Read the CliffNotes C - Actually read the book? (It’s OK, you don’t have to tell me…) In the spirit of working smarter and not harder, I wanted to share a quick overview of the Loom AI meeting notetaker. And because we all learn differently, here are all three versions: watch the movie, skim the CliffNotes, AND read the book!

Loom AI includes a powerful meeting assistant that can help you capture all the important details from your meetings. Learn how to setup Loom to record your meetings and let it do your homework, um, I mean, take notes, for you!

🗒️ Read the CliffNotes:

If you’re ready to put your pen and notebook away and let AI take your meeting notes for you, here’s all you need to do:

1. Connect your calendar - go to Loom, click Meetings on the left. Follow the prompts to allow Loom access to your calendar.
2. Record automatically or manually? You need to decide if you want Loom to automatically record all meetings, just internal meetings, or add meetings manually. If you choose manual, you can add repeating meetings just once, and Loom will record the series.
3. Share meeting recaps - Do you want to share the meeting recaps with all meeting participants, just internal participants, or just you?
4. Location, location, location! For Confluence page recaps, choose the space where these will be created
5. Moving forward: If you choose to manually record meetings, go to Loom - Meetings anytime to toggle meeting recording on and off.
