Fatal Error when cloning repo

When I am cloning a repo for the first time, I get 2 different fatal errors:

1. The remote end hung up unexpectedly 
2. Warning: Templates not found in C:\.........git-core\templates
   1. The remote end hung up unexpectedly

If you or someone on your team has access to the git server you are cloning from, you should check it for errors. "The remote end hung up unexpectedly" typically means the server you are cloning from has an issue.
