need to turn off the right sidebar panel

My app used to be that when I clicked on a ticket, it opened. Now it places it in the right sidebar and opens the ticket in a different window.

This is a recent change in Jira Cloud: work items now open in a side panel instead of navigating to the full issue page, and there's no option to disable it. You can read more about how it works here: View content in a side panel.

Yes I know it's an issue. I just need away in my Jira right side bar to bo back. /there should be away to remove it on this dashboard. All the claimed fixes out here doen't work for me. Please help.

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to remove or disable the side panel.

The best way to get the team to reconsider or add a toggle option is to vote and share your feedback directly on the official suggestion ticket I mentioned above.

The product teams prioritize changes based heavily on user comments and votes on these tickets.
