@Frank Chee can you please provide some additional information as to what error you received. A screenshot could also be helpful.

Hello @Frank Chee

Besides these two right answers, I've seen another similar question today, so it may also indicate some small incident.

Best,

Arek 🤠

If the Atlassian Rovo connector isn’t connecting to Claude, try disconnecting it and reconnecting it first. Atlassian recommends using the current Rovo MCP endpoint and OAuth 2.1 authentication. The current endpoint is   the older /v1/sse endpoint is no longer supported after June 30, 2026.

Also check that your Atlassian administrator has allowed Claude to access the Rovo MCP server and that you have the required Jira or Confluence permissions. If your organization uses domain or IP restrictions, these can also prevent the connection.

If Claude keeps failing to connect, try opening a private browser window, reconnecting the Atlassian account, and starting a new Claude conversation. If the problem continues, your Atlassian admin may need to reauthorize or reset the Rovo MCP connection.

Hi @Frank Chee ,

I noticed your post regarding the failure to connect the Atlassian Rovo Connector from Claude. This is often related to expired OAuth contexts or MCP server configuration updates.

Does the error appear on the Atlassian login page after clicking "Connect," or after being redirected back to Claude?
