Dear community,
I'm using Rovo in an automation where it's asked to read an attached spreadsheet, identify certain columns, and then send an email line by line to a specific address with a defined structure. The problem is that Rovo doesn't seem to be able to read all the content. The files aren't very large—50 records at most—but it still can't read them, and my automation throws an error.
Have you encountered a similar problem with Rovo? Thank you for your help.

Hello @Francisco Navarro
Rovo works with Excel/CSV data, but behavior differs based on how the agent is used. Agents in the Use Rovo agent Automation action have more restricted behavior than those used directly in Rovo Chat.
Try isolate that a little
Provide the .xlsx/.csv file directly to Rovo Chat. Ask: “How many data rows are present? Return the identifier/email from the first row and last row.” Then run the Automation and ask the automated agent exactly the same thing.
Check Automation → Audit log → Use Rovo agent → View debug log for the exact Automation error, not just "it throws an error."
Actually there's plenty JAC tickets addressing Rovo capabilities for example this one https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-97952
Best,
Arek 🤠
Do you just tell Rovo to read the spreadsheet and send an email or do you have an agent for that?
Can you share the error you’re getting?
If you use an agent for that, does it have all the needed permissions and skills?
