So I have a rovo agent that is supposed to collect information from multiple pages, summarise it and push it into another page as a weekly status update.
The requirement is that it has to publish it right under the heading (which is the layout side 1) in this image.
There will be some existing content but it has to be pushed down.
The layout of the page is as shown in the image below
This is the instructions that I have given the rovo agent
Step 7 — Publish to the Main Page
Perform the following actions
1. In the MAIN_PAGE_URL, look for heading Weekly Updates. This will be a heading 1
1.1 This is the link to the section:<https:// link to the heading.
1.2 in this image it is "layout side 1">
2. There will be an empty line right below it and then followed by "Week ending yyyy-mm-dd". This will be a h2
3. Look for the yyyy-mm-dd that is 1 week before today's date that you have got in step 1 and do the following
3.a Create 1 empty line just before it
3.b Publish the full full Weekly Summary here
Any idea what I am doing wrong here or how to get it posted
Hi @Athul Govind ,
Can you share what the current behavior is? What does the agent do when triggered?
I mean, the current limitation (as far as I know) is that the agents will always add the content at the bottom of the page. This is stated in the official docs here: Rovo agent skills
However, there's a feature request related to the agent being able to add content in some other pages of the page: ROVO-276: ROVO agent adds content always at the bottom of the Confluence page 👀
Cheers,
Tobi
Yeap.. this is the exact behaviour that I am experiencing.
Guessing the only option out is to change the layout of the page..
Thanks for the quick revert!!
