When we will establish the connection with the AI using MCP configuration. Data accessed by the AI is secure enough or we need to add some kind of security for it.

Hey @Ashutosh Kaushik — great question. When using Atlassian’s MCP, data from Jira and Confluence is filtered based on your permissions and securely routed through Atlassian’s infrastructure. By default, it’s not shared with third-party models unless explicitly configured (e.g., connecting to Claude, Gemini, etc.). You can review or restrict these connections in your org settings for added control.
