I want to allow end users to access the Rovo chat bot within Teams, so they can ask questions and get answers back. I would like it to behave the same way it does within Jira, and be a private conversation between the bot and the end user, however just having it available in a Teams channel and respond with threads would be alright.
the feature request was only just posted on Oct 13th: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ROVO-359
That doesn't nessecarily mean it's not being worked on yet, but watching that JAC and watching this Community for updates from the product team is your best bet for an ETA.
@Jacob Antoine As of now Rovo is supported in Microsoft Teams via its Teams Connector, but that support is for indexing Teams content (chats, channels) and making it searchable—not for live Rovo Chat or Agent interactions inside Teams. If you’d like real-time agent chats in Teams, you’ll need to wait until Atlassian officially announces that feature is in GA and fully rolled-out.

Welcome @Jacob Antoine
You have the Microsoft Teams connector for Rovo that is available. It covers private channels, public channels and chats as well, see more here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/rovo/connectors/microsoft-teams

Hey Nikola,
I am aware that I can connect Rovo to Teams and it will index the data, but that does not allow the users to interact with it, within a channel or within an app in Teams. That is what I am looking for.
