I can see in the Confluence API docs, there is a search api rest call, but is there also now access to the responses from Rovo? Using this in a central business chatbot would be a game changer, pulling together documentation from confluence, and other company sources.
Hi Meiling — welcome to the Atlassian Community! 👋
At this time, Rovo doesn’t offer a public REST API for retrieving AI-generated search or chat results. While Jira and Confluence APIs are available, Rovo responses can’t be accessed programmatically yet.
Since API access is a common request (especially for chatbot use cases), I recommend submitting a feature request or sharing feedback directly in-product to help shape future development.

You can not get Rovo's AI answer through API. But you can pull content from confluence using its Search API and then use your own AI to create answer, so your chatbot can bring together info from Confluence and other company sources.
