We find Rovo slows down our Jira page loads, and moves content out of view that we're writing or reading when it does load. And we don't want to use it.
How can we disable loading of all Rovo widgets?
You have two options:
1. Disable rovo across the whole instance.
2. Use unlock origin to block anything on the page. It has a button that allows you to select items in a page and hide them.

What is "unlock origin"? A 3rd party browser extension?

What origin can be blocked to prevent Rovo widgets while allowing the rest of Jira to work as usual?

Hi!

This is from the Atlassian docs:
To remove AI-powered buttons and features from your products, you need to block access for each specific application.
Blocking an app disables all current and upcoming AI features for that specific application, including Rovo Agents and Chat 1.
Log in to Atlassian Administration (admin.atlassian.com).
Select your Organization.
Navigate to Settings > Rovo > Rovo access.
Select Add app and choose the products you wish to disable (e.g., Jira Software, Confluence).
Select Block access to confirm .
While blocking Rovo prevents data interaction, you must also deactivate Atlassian Intelligence to remove UI elements like "Summarize comments" .
In Atlassian Administration, go to Settings > Atlassian Intelligence.
Locate the list of products and select Remove or Deactivate for each one.
Confirm the deactivation .
If you only wish to disable experimental or upcoming features while keeping generally available AI tools, you can toggle Beta settings 03.
Go to Atlassian Administration > Rovo > Rovo access.
Select Beta features.
Turn off Enable beta features 03.
Note: These changes are instance-wide and cannot be applied to specific projects or spaces individually .
> 2. Use unlock origin to block anything on the page. It has a button that allows you to select items in a page and hide them
The App is called "uBlock origin"
Click on Remove element and start clicking, for example, the Rovo chat icon you can see on the bottom right.
Click the components till its gone.

Thanks! Due to my disabling Atlassian Intelligence weeks ago, I only needed to add all our apps to the Rovo Block-list.
