I created Atlassian Rovo Agents for drafting Epics, User Stories as per user provided details and posting these detailed in designated Jira Project as well through create item action. When I am creating user story in Jira project using Rovo Agent, all the content is going into Description section as a whole. I want that accepted criteria should go into Acceptance Criteria section of Jira User story. How this can be achieved or is it even possible with Rovo Agents?
Hi @Anant Patel - Network and welcome to the Community,
"Acceptance Criteria" must be a custom field, as it's not part of the standard set. Currently, Rovo cannot edit Custom fields.
You can upvote the feature request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ROVO-243
The Rovo Team is aware of the issue and I personally believe this will be delivered rather sooner than later.
@Anant Patel - Network Right now Rovo Agents can only fill fields that are exposed as editable through Jira’s public APIs. Most teams have “Acceptance Criteria” implemented as a custom field, and those custom fields aren’t fully supported in Rovo’s create/edit actions yet—so everything lands in Description. The workaround is to map AC into Description or update it manually until Atlassian adds custom-field support.
