I need to build a dashboard based on jira filter. Was trying to use Rovo for that. Can it read the data by the jira filter link and create charts based on it?
Hi @Daryna Podchakha, Rovo can absolutely parse filter links and has the ability to create charts (if you're working in an agent, ensure that you have the Create charts action selected). I just tested this with the prompt in chat:
Given the following filter <link to filter of issues assigned to me in a specific project>, create a pie chart based on the statuses of those work items.
And got an accurate pie chart as requested.
That being said, if you're looking for a live dashboard I would lean towards using the standard Jira dashboard functionality as there is no way to embed Rovo into a static dashboard currently. If you want a one off report via chat, or to create a Confluence page with a snapshot of data at a certain time Rovo could definitely help with that, but unless you're leveraging Rovo's ability to parse and transform data I don't think it would add to your use case.
If you want to provide some additional details on your requirements here I'd be happy to advise further!
Hi Alex, thanks. My challenge is that I need to use custom fields. But Rovo can't read them properly. Is it a known issue and nay workaround expected?
