Hi Rovo Team,

I’m curious about how Rovo CLI handles adding support for new models. For example, other CLIs like Droid or Cursor tend to quickly integrate the latest models after release.

- Do you have a roadmap or process for adding new models?
- Are there limitations that prevent Rovo CLI from supporting the newest models immediately?

Thanks for any insight!

To add to @Nikola Perisic response: Rovo CLI doesn’t expose or let users choose models directly. Model selection, upgrades, and rollout are fully managed by Atlassian, including evaluation for security, privacy, cost, and performance across Jira/Confluence workflows. That’s why new models don’t appear immediately like in standalone coding tools. Updates happen behind the scenes once Atlassian validates them at platform scale—there isn’t a public model roadmap for Rovo CLI today.
