Hi team,
A customer wants to 'test' out Access before purchasing it.
They want to set it up for some users (5-6) in an instance of 200-300 users who will set it up, experience single sign on and provide recommendation as to whether they should invest in it or not.
I believe, as per @Angélica Luz reply in post below, its not possible to manage specific accounts..
Can someone please confirm this.
thanks in advance
The answer really depends on what features of Atlassian Access they want to test. If it's simply SSO, then as @Dirk Ronsmans already alluded to yes they can use two authentication policies to test with only a smaller select group of users.
However, if they want to do full user and group provisioning, that is going to require more work. I think it's possible but you are going to need to do a fair bit of organization with with the structure of your identity provider to only pull the 5-6 users you intend to test with as well and "only" the groups that aren't shared with other users.
I hope that helps a bit.

Hi @Sajit Nair _Trundl_ ,
There's no way. After you verify your customer domain, Atlassian access will manage all registered accounts with email abc@your_customer_domain

Not really.
Yes, you will claim all the accounts on the domain and they become managed accounts when you verify the domain
BUT, then you can assign different Authentication Policies after you add Atlassian Access and only have those few users get SSO
Managed Accounts != Atlassian Access
