If I add a domain name to the list of domains who can join your site - what permissions do these new users get when they sign up, before (and if) an admin makes any changes to their permissions? We are trying to determine what is the risk for unauthorized access by someone on an authorized domain who should not have access.
Anyone with one of the following email address domains, enabling signup to users from specific email domains. We will always notify your administrators when a new user signups up using one of these email domains.
Hello Rob,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
When we add new users or if we allow anyone with a specific domain to join, they will receive the permissions according to the configuration that it’s set on Product access.
So, on Administration > Product access you can see this information:
You can enable and disable the products that they will have access to.
Also, when they create their account and receive access to the products, they won’t be able to access any project, unless it’s open to any user, so an admin will have to add the new users to the projects.
If you have any other question regarding this matter, please let us know.
Regards,
Angélica
