Is it possible for movie professionals to collaborate on Atlassian software?

I am planning to create a collaborative space for professional as well as aspiring movie writers, directors, actors and producers, etc where they can discuss and develop their project. Is it possible to customize any of the tools available here to accomplish this?

Yes, you could use Jira or Trello to customize your workflows, fields and use third party plug-ins to meet your needs.  

We use Trello for example to develop video content.
