Our company is going through rebranding/name change and we need to change both our UPN and email addresses to the new domain name. From what I have read, it seems if you already have SSO established and you change the email address in the source, that it will sync the change to your existing Atlassian Access account and no issues. However, since we need to change both UPN and email, that was what I tested by changing both on the source and when I logged on to Atlassian Access it created a new account with the new email address.
Is there a method to accomplish what we are doing and maintain our user data on existing accounts?
Also this article Change Atlassian account email addresses | Atlassian Cloud | Atlassian Documentation states I should be able to change the email address of the duplicate account in Atlassian Access so I can get that new email back to the old account, but I am unable to edit the email address because it is synced to IdP
Is there any response to this UPN change request?
