  1. They use a technique called encryption to protect your data when it's being sent and when it's stored on their servers.
  2. They require users to provide more than one form of identification (such as a password and a code sent to their phone) to log in and access the system.
  3. They regularly check their security systems to find any weaknesses that could make your data vulnerable to hackers.
  4. They make sure that users can only access the parts of the system that they need to do their job.
  5. They have plans in place to quickly respond if there's a security breach or problem.
