how to auto-group alerts from the same server/service?

Hi,

Is there anyone happens to know how to set in opsgenie?

My request is auto-group alerts from the same server. Server name is in alert details. We have 170 servers so we cannot set service>incident rules > details contains ### server name.

Is there any better way with this ?

Hi @Austin Lehdonvirta ,

John from Opsgenie support here - happy to help!

You can group alert by using the alias field to trigger deduplication.

In your case, since the server name is in the alert details, you will need to edit the integration to use map the dynamic field for the server to the alias. If you need to parse it out, string processing and regex can help.
