Not receiving critical alerts

Hello,

I'm on Iphone 16 with the latest os upgrade and noticed that I'm not receiving critical alerts.  I've double checked my settings and confirmed that I am overriding the DnD setting, all notification styles are enabled, enabled background app refresh, and yet, when I test alerts, I don't receive them.  I'm the override on call engineer, so I'm wondering if there is an issue with the override?

Hi Denis!

Make sure that you have the same settings on both the Notifications section in Settings, and as well, make sure to configure the notifications on the Apps > Jira in your phone.

As well, make sure that both your phone has been updated to the latest version of iOS and check that Apple Intelligence is not summarizing the notifications for the Jira app, which might lead to some notifications being missing.

I'm currently running an iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 18.3.1 and Jira notifications are working as expected on my end. Make sure to give a try!

Hi Tomas,

Thanks for your response!  It turns out when I upgraded my phone last December, for some reason the "Notify via mobile..." rule was removed.  I don't know if it was due to the upgrade itself, or something else.  At some point, a few weeks ago the app had trouble verifying the install on my new phone and I had to reinstall it.  Maybe it had something to do with that.

Needless, to say, now that I added the notification rule back in, it's working again.  I'm not sure how I missed it while troubleshooting.
