How can I checked if a SCOM alert is sent to OpsGenie?

Pieter Swildens
September 19, 2022

We have a SCOM 2022 environment and the OpsGenie solution sometimes seems to work and then stops working. After a complete removal of the Opsgenie Intergration and install with another intergrationb version of OpsGenie no new SCOM alerts are sent to OpsGenie. Can I check if communication from SCOM with OpsGenie works?

Hi @Pieter Swildens ,

Within Opsgenie, you should be able to review the Logs tab. This is the best place to troubleshoot whether or not a connection has been made between Opsgenie and an integration.

Even if an alert is not created, Opsgenie will still log errors and helpful entries to determine what the issue is. But if no log(s) exist, then there's most likely a misconfiguration on the the other side since Opsgenie is not receiving anything.
