Recap & follow up questions:
After the migration demo we had some great questions from the audience. Those include:
- What settings do I need applied on my account to access the routing, escalation policy, and scheduling functions of JSM?
- The Operations functions in JSM will be available only after Opsgenie has been migrated into JSM.
- Can you extend the 120 day overlap if needed?
- Yes! If you need more time to have OG alongside JSM, our engineering team can extend the 120 day limit. We recommend reaching out around day 100 if you anticipate needing an extension.
- Will the current Opsgenie APIs also be available in both JSM and Opsgenie?
- There currently aren't any plans to completely shut down the OG API endpoints - they will be redirected to the corresponding JSM API endpoints.
- Is it true that in order to have multiple custom routing rules you have to be on the JSM Premium plan (in other words, we can’t be on the Standard plan)?
