iTrack REST API

I'm new to all of this, I do know PHP. So my company has iTrack which is built using JIRA as I understand it. I need to be able to send data to and from iTrack. So my question is:

Is there already a REST API built into iTrack and can I simply access it using php cURL?

I am not sure about iTrack but Jira has Rest API.  You can read about it here:

Also there is a plugin for Jira which let you try Jira's REST API easily:
