how do i get this app off my computer

i have had this shit on my computer for years. it opens every time i open the computer and I can't quit out of the app. I double click on it, and it says OPEN instead of QUIT so i can't get rid of it. Every time I try to put it in the trash it says I can't because it's open, but I can't close it because it's already closed, and yet somehow also open. How do I get this off my computer.

SInce you're trying to remove an app by moving it to thrash, I assume you're on a mac. (But it probably behaves similarly on windows.

In the task bar, if you see the Loom icon, right-click, then click Quit.

You should be able to remove it now.

To prevent the app from starting on login (when you start your computer):

In System settings, go to General, Login Items & Extensions, Open at Login. If Loom is there, remove it.
