Hey Loom team 👋
I’m currently part of a friend’s Education workspace, and I’ve recorded a lot of videos while being a member there.
Right now:
My default workspace is my friend’s
The videos show up in my Library, but they’re associated with his workspace
His plan will end in ~15–20 days, and I’ll be leaving that workspace
I plan to upgrade to my own paid Loom plan after that
My questions are:
When I leave his workspace and start my own plan, will the videos I recorded automatically stay with my account?
If not, what’s the correct way to transfer or retain all my videos before leaving the workspace?
I just want to make sure I don’t lose access to any of my recordings.
Thanks a lot — appreciate the help 🙏
Hey @Shourya Thour ,
Short answer is - no, your videos won't be transferred automatically. You'll have to do it manually, but you can do a bulk move of your whole personal library by following steps described here: Transfer content between Workspaces
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tobi

@Shourya Thour seems like it's some kind of outage. I've checked with a couple of my accounts and it's the same everywhere.
However, there isn't a reported incident, so I'll ask someone from Atlassian to check it out and come back with an update.
But, generally, when it gets fixed, that's the process to transfer your videos to a new workspace.
