I just recorded a Loom. Hit stop. Then immediately, it says it's been viewed by anonymous. I click to edit it, still haven't watched myself, or shared it, and now it has two view counts. Are my videos being posted publicly? How do I change that?
Thanks!

If browser extensions or workspace security protocols scan new URLs for safety, Loom logs this as an anonymous view. In team environments, system tools might briefly access files for organizational or compliance purposes. Do you have a browser extension like a link checker or security scanner installed?
Thanks so much, @Martin Runge. Not to my knowledge. I'm just working solo on a laptop over here, not in a team environment. It's the first time it's happened. I'll check whether Chrome runs anything like that automatically.

To add one case I've been experiencing - I've got multiple browser profiles, and only one Loom account, which I mainly use for recording videos. Now, once I stop recording, Loom automatically opens the video in a browser (the lastly used window), which doesn't necessarily have the same user logged in as the one with whom I've recorded a video. That usually results in the same or similar behavior you're seeing. 👀
Not saying that's the case with you, but it sometimes surprises me when I get this notification.
Cheers,
Tobi

Ahhhh, thanks @Tomislav Tobijas , that could be the case as well. I do have multiple browser profiles. It was quite surprising to see a view immediately after the video automatically opens.
Appreciate your insight!
