Using Loom with WhatsApp Web (Business) on Mac with Chrome

Hi, 

whenever i use loom on WhatsApp Web it does not show my camera. However if i use any other website in the same chrome browser, everything works fine.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

Hi @Robinson Bentler ,

WhatsApp Web likely locks down browser permissions on its tab. This prevents Chrome extensions like Loom from recognizing the active page and accessing your camera.

You can use the Loom desktop app instead of the Chrome extension.

The Desktop app accesses the camera at the system level, bypassing Chrome's per-tab camera lock entirely. This is the most reliable fix.
