Hello Loom Support Team,
I’m running into a serious issue with video exports and need help urgently.
I’ve created and edited 14 videos inside Loom. I spent significant time editing the audio so that what is being said matches exactly what I want communicated. In the web editor, everything sounds correct. However, when I export the videos, the transcription appears to overwrite the actual edited audio, resulting in exports that do not reflect what I finalized in the editor.
This raises a few critical questions I need clarity on immediately:
Why is the exported video not matching the edited audio from the web version?
Is Loom prioritizing transcription over edited audio during export?
Is there a setting or workflow I’m missing to ensure the exported video reflects the edited audio exactly as it sounds in the editor?
Have I lost the actual audio edits I made, or are they preserved somewhere?
If Loom is not designed to reliably support audio editing without transcription interference, I need to know that now so I can move this project to a different platform.
I’ve invested months of work into these videos, so I’m understandably very frustrated and concerned. I’m hopeful this is a simple fix or setting adjustment, but I need a clear explanation and solution as soon as possible.
Please advise on the correct way to export videos so the audio reflects the edited version, not an auto-generated transcription.
Thank you for your prompt help, I’m eager to resolve this quickly.
