Log in to your Loom account
Go to Settings → Account → Danger Zone
Click “Delete Account” and confirm
If the button is disabled, it usually means:
You are part of a workspace/team plan, or
You’re not the workspace owner/admin
In that case, you’ll need to either leave the workspace or ask the admin to remove you before deletion is allowed.
If you belong to a team workspace:
Open Settings → Workspaces
Leave all active workspaces
Retry account deletion
Loom prevents deletion while the account is still linked to an active workspace subscription.
Sometimes the delete action fails due to session/cookie problems. Try:
Logging out and back in
Using Incognito mode
Trying a different browser (Chrome/Firefox)
If the option still doesn’t work after the above steps, it likely requires backend removal.

A short note: “Unable to delete account from settings — please permanently delete my account.”
