Hello Loom Support Team,
I’m experiencing an issue where the “Start Recording” button is disabled and cannot be clicked.
This problem occurs on both the Loom desktop app and the Chrome browser version.
Here is what I’ve already tried:
Enabled Screen Recording permission for Loom and Google Chrome in macOS System Settings
Enabled Microphone and Accessibility permissions
Restarted my Mac multiple times after changing permissions
Reinstalled the Loom desktop app
Tried both Full Screen and Window recording modes
Despite all of this, the Start Recording button remains locked, even though:
Microphone is detected and turned on
Screen recording options are visible
This makes it impossible to start any recording.
Environment details:
OS: macOS Tahoe 26.1
Recording method: Desktop app & Chrome (both affected)
Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue, or let me know if there is a known bug related to macOS screen recording permissions?

It happened to me only once; I uninstalled and reinstalled the application. It only happened on a Mac; it never happened to me on Windows.
