Amanda,
Thanks for responding. I sincerely appreciate the help.
I'm able to get to the point where you left off.
It's what happens next that's confusing and repetitive.
It asks whether I want a wide screen, a window, or a tab. Which one do I use to send a personal and still professional-looking email to someone? What I'm used to from before is a round circle around my face that I could make smaller or larger.
I'm in favor of using my office background when doing these recordings. It's what I use for all my Zoom meetings and trainings.
And then, the controls for actually doing the recording aren't like what I'm used to. The square to start the recording is grayed out, so I'm lost about what to do differently.
@Barry Moniak - when I select to record a Loom from my Gmail, I'm prompted to select my screen, window, or tab. Then, once the recorder pops open with the countdown, I see the controls along the left side of my window like this:
That's where I'd turn on my camera. Then, I can change the circle size.
To be honest, I'd actually prefer to record using the Chrome extension or my macbook app and then click the Loom button in Gmail and select "Insert Last Record" instead!
