Promblems with email adress and login

Hello,

I have an account with you for a long time now. 

There must be something wrong with the email that is used and how things are connected with the atlassian id. 

I am so confused really. 

I receive my invoices to the correct email address: marcus@itforrealty.com

last invoice number was: FB0DDC16-0057

I finally managed to log in and find all my videos, however, I had to use my old email address. So it seems that when I made the change from my old email marcus@iits.es to my new one marcus@itforrealty.com, the email for login purposes was never changed. 

When I log into the account i have to use marcus@iits.es. i would like to change it to marcus@itforrealty.com.

Hi Marcus! This is a common situation when you've changed your billing email but the Atlassian account login wasn't updated separately. Your Atlassian account login email and your billing email are independent, so you need to update the login email directly.

Here's how to fix it:

  1. Log in using your old email (marcus@iits.es) as you currently do.
  2. Go to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/email
  3. Enter marcus@itforrealty.com as the new email address and save.
  4. Important: If marcus@itforrealty.com is already associated with another Atlassian account (possible if you signed up separately), you'll need to first change that account's email to a third address to free it up, then repeat the above step.

Once verified, you'll be able to log in with your new email going forward.
