I’m sorry to hear about the frustration you’re experiencing with the Loom extension and the unexpected charges. It sounds like a very stressful situation, especially when you've been trying to resolve it for weeks.
I’ve checked our internal systems and couldn’t find an open support ticket regarding this issue. To get this resolved and ensure you aren't charged further, please follow the steps below to contact our billing team and delete your account.
Before you can delete your account, you must ensure all paid subscriptions are canceled to avoid further billing.
Go to the Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing, & Licensing | Atlassian.
Under How can we help you?, select Your account.
Under Choose a topic, select Cancel cloud subscription.
Click on Need more help? (you may need to click this twice to reach the contact form).
In the description, explain that you wish to cancel your subscriptions and that you did not mean to subscribe to a paid plan. This is crucial for resolving the $24 bill.
Once your subscriptions are handled, you can proceed with deleting your account:
Log in to your Account settings at id.atlassian.com/manage-profile.
Select Account preferences from the left-hand menu.
Scroll down to the Delete your account section and click Delete account.
Read the information about what happens when an account is deleted, then click Delete account again to confirm.
Note: There is a 14-day grace period before the account is permanently deleted.
Please open a new ticket using the instructions in Step 1. Once you have submitted it, you will receive a ticket key (it will look like CA-*** or JST-****).
If you don't receive a response quickly, please reply to me here with that ticket key. I will personally follow up internally to make sure your request is processed as a priority.
Best,
Samuil
Hi @Abigail Valdes ,
You can reach out to Atlassian billing and licensing team here: Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing & Licensing
But, if you'd like to change your subscription and if your Loom is under Atlassian organization, you can try navigating to https://admin.atlassian.com/ > Billing > *click "Manage" next to Loom > in the top right either change plan or "Deactivate" subscription
Can you maybe try following these steps to see how it will go. In case you get stuck, I'd suggest reaching out to the billing team as mentioned above. 👆
Cheers,
Tobi
