I have the option for custom size. I go to Canva, select the custom size but it won't record. It doesn't show the bubble on the slide. instead, the entire screen records.
Are you using Loom desktop or the browser extension (see different platforms/apps here)? If you're using the browser extension, I'd recommend maybe trying the desktop one, as things can get mixed up when you're using the extension due to browser layers (and tabs).
To me, the desktop app proved to be more stable.
On the other hand, you could maybe try using an incognito window/mode (or a different browser) just to see if they will 'fix the issue'. 👀
