I downloaded the desktop app for Loom and when first opening it, I got a pop-up where it asked me to sign in, so I did. I used google and thought its all good, and authentication went well, but then when i clicked on redirect to desktop app, it asked me to sign in again... Ive been going in loops for like 10 mins
This happens to me almost every time I change devices (and it once happened randomly). You need to play around with sessions, incognito windows, and browser profiles (if you use those).
It can get quite frustrating at some point to simply log in... I just can't recall now what the last thing I did was to 'fix' this. 👀
I believe I had to log out of all sessions and then log in again to finish the authentication, which finally worked.
On the last device I used, everything was authenticated for 2+ years, so I hope this will stay the same after a couple of days of struggle 😅
Same problem here vor several weeks now. I contacted support 2x, and they found a lot of open sessions that they closed. then for a brief time the desktop app logs in again, but soon after the same problem appears again - always been thrown back to the login interface.
Contacting support anytime that happens isnt a solution, it disrups our workflows massively and makes loom unrelaible for us. will be looking for alternatives if no fix appears soon. :-(

Same problem here. I was expecting a self-service guide to troubleshoot. I really don't want to get into another loop by raising a support ticket.
