Hello Team,
I recently started facing an issue with Loom Notetaker in Microsoft Teams.
Previously, my Loom AI Notetaker would automatically join Teams meetings and record them without any manual intervention. I had configured Loom to automatically attend my meetings.
However, today I noticed different behavior. The meeting organizer had already added their own Loom AI Notetaker to the meeting. As a result, my Loom Notetaker did not join automatically. I had to manually add it by pasting the meeting link into the "Record a Meeting" section.
Additionally, for future meetings, Loom is showing a message indicating that another user's recording bot (see red box in screenshot) is associated with the meeting. I am attaching the screenshot below of loom interface (hiding some personal details).
My requirement is that my Loom Notetaker should be able to join and record my meetings automatically, regardless of whether another participant or organizer is also using Loom for recording.
The reason is that I rely on my Loom account to access meeting recordings and notes later. If another person's Loom records the meeting, I may not have access to the recording unless they explicitly share it with me. Therefore, I would like my own Loom Notetaker to join and record meetings consistently.
Could you please help me understand:
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Mohit Saini
Hi, @Mohit Saini! I believe this is by design. You can see Brittani's response about this here: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Loom-questions/Can-more-than-one-person-record-the-same-meeting-using-Loom/qaa-p/3001677#M23
