I want to buy iPad pro newest one but i want to know if loom works on there

can i screen record with my face in the screen recording like how i would in my macbook?

I just downloaded the Loom app to my iPad, and it does not seem to offer the ability to record both your face and screen at the same time. From what I can tell, you can choose between three options:

1. Recording via a Camera (front or back, if available)
2. Recording your screen
3. Recording audio only

Hello @tayami rai,

Unfortunately, you cannot record screen + camera simultaneously on iOS/iPadOS – this is an Apple iOS/iPadOS restriction, not specific to Loom or iPad Pro.

Loom for iPad can be used to record:

• Screen only (via Screen Broadcast)
• Camera only (front or rear)
• Audio only

If you're planning to buy an iPad Pro mainly for Loom screen + facecam recordings, keep in mind the no-simultaneous mode (you still need a desktop/laptop for that). Otherwise, it's a solid choice for iPad use.

Thank you Liam. I got a MacBook Pro but is there no way I can get my face on the screen recording while showing the screen recording? Do you know any app that allows that?
