The videos seem to be sorted by creation date -which presents them in backwards order -showing the newest videos first instead of the oldest videos first. If I have a folder for user training, I want Video#1 to show up first, then Video #2, etc. Obviously, I would have created Video #1 before video #2, yet when the user looks in the folder, the videos are going to be in backwards order. It's hard to believe I can't manually change the sort order. Does anyone have any workarounds?
@Gord Walsh welcome to the Atlassian community
Videos are ordered by oldest to newest with newest at the top. There is not a way that I am aware of to reorder them. I believe that you can use hashtags and additional folders to organize content but this will not change the order - https://community.atlassian.com/learning/lesson/best-practices-for-organizing-videos-in-loom
Yes, this is pretty ridiculous -such as basic, no-brainer feature:(

@Gord Walsh I agree that it would be a nice feature to have. Loom at the core is designed to provide updates, feedback and information to your teams, department or company. So the current set sorting makes sense from what is was originally intended to be used for. Example we provide a message every Friday from our CTO. When individuals look at this they want to get to the latest version to watch it and if they want to look back for something it would be from most recent to oldest. I think now more and more individuals are using it for other things like training that this organization does not fit. I found this suggestion and would recommend that you vote for it as I did. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/LOOM-17
