Grayed out record button on macbook

All permissions are correct and reinstalled app multiple times as well as restarting the computer. Have anyone else been dealing with this issue? How did you solve it? This is Mac OS Apple M4 chip.

Hey there! I wonder if you're perhaps in the wrong workspace and only have viewer permissions in the workspace currently set as your default. Sometimes we are a member of multiple different workspaces, and have different levels of access in each.
